Video: Atherton Project series 2, episode 8

By BikeRadar | Wednesday, August 25, 2010 1.40pm

The Atherton Project, a web video series filmed by renowned mountain bike film producer Clay Porter, follows the famous siblings as they compete in the 2010 UCI World Cup and World Championships.

In this latest episode, Gee heads to Scotland for the British Champs all alone while his injured siblings, Rachel and Dan stay at home. Their absence is a negative influence on Gee and he is without the inspiration and support that so often takes him to the top. Can he manage on his own?

Gee then makes his way to the fourth round of the World Cup in Champery, Switzerland. After some lightning-quick qualifiers on a dusty track, some heavy rain sets in and turns it all to treacle. With Gee neck and neck with Greg Minaar in the overall placings this season, anything less than a win is a disappointment. Can he beat the mud and bring the points home?
