Garmin-Barracuda boasts some of the strongest time trialists in the world but when it comes to team time trials they spend more time than most working on becoming a cohesive and effective unit.
It paid off last summer with victory in the opening stage of the Tour de France, success they'll be looking to continue in 2012. Our sister site Cyclingnews.com was at their team camp in Calpe, Spain this week and on the final day, the team split into several groups and covered a 15km loop twice. Reaching speeds of 70kph, the likes of David Millar, Christian Vande Velde and Peter Stetina, all of whom will be racing next week's Tour of Qatar, showed why they'll be a force in the TTT this year.
