Cornering is an essential skill for mountain biking, and being able to take corners faster will improve your flow through twisty sections of trail.
Better turning comes through manipulating your weight distribution to maximise grip. There are two ways to do this: by transferring your weight so it's completely on one pedal, or using your elbows or legs to push down into the front or back wheel at the point in the turn where you want the most grip from each wheel.
