Towards the end of last year Bikeradar teamed up with Skoda to offer six lucky readers the chance to ride with pros from Rapha Condor Sharp.
Dan Williams, Matt Jones, Greg Culshaw, Keith Burden, Brian Miller and Calvin Ferns joined BikeRadar staff members and 2011 Tour of Britain King of the Mountains Jonathan Tiernan-Locke and his Rapha Condor Sharp team-mate Tom Southam for a 40-miler that took in one of the UK's most iconic climbs, Cheddar Gorge in Somerset.
Riding with professional cyclists was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the five, each one of them dumbstruck by the fitness levels and bike handling skills on display. Whether it was pulling a wheelie on the steep incline of the gorge, effortlessly tackling 18 percent slopes in the big ring or removing a rain jacket at 23mph in the wet, the guys were left enthralled at the skills and capabilities of a top pro.
"The whole experience was unbelievable," said competition winner Greg Culshaw. "I went to the Olympic road race test event last year and was blown away by the sheer number of support vehicles, press and police, so to find myself riding out with the RCS team car, driven by John Herety, was awesome."

18% on Cheddar Gorge? Are you sure they were on the road and not riding directly up the rocks?
