New Zealander Rob Pollock has spent a lifetime painting car interiors, sprucing up dashboards to give them a faux wood effect. He expanded this process – woodgraining – to bike frames after agreeing to customise his son’s bike, and is now in business.
Customers send in their frames and forks to Rob’s Woodgrain Bike Frames, and he then hand-paints them individually over seven to ten days. Check out the video below for an insight into the process:

whilst i feel this guy is talented would I really want to ride a frame that resembles my grannies sideboard?? that's a big fat no then!
