Who's been Borrowing the Bike?!
We reported a couple of weeks ago on the Halfords 'Borrow a Bike' scheme, where bright orange bikes were placed in London commuter hotspots for people to 'borrow'.
Well, Halfords now want to know where their bikes have got to! 'Borrow the Bike' has become 'Spot the Bike'. And they're offering a Carrera bike as part of a prize draw for everyone who reports sightings with the date, location and name of the bike - preferably with a photo.
Barbara Cadd, campaign manager at Halfords said: "We've received lots of emails from Londoners experiencing cycling around the city, some for the first time, and their comments have been extremely positive."
If you spot one, email the details to borrower@borrowthebike.com. Any bikes that are handed back will be donated to the charity, Bikes4Africa.
