Why not test ride a Foes at the next Demo Day?
Foes made it onto the list of What Mountain Bike's best suspension bikes of 2006, and it's not difficult to see why. For every super hyped 'grab the atttention' bike there are always those innovators who go about their pioneering work very quietly and let the results do the talking. With his predilection for bright red paint, plus one model that has hot rod flames moulded into the monocoque frame you couldn't call Brent Foes understated, but his bikes have been way beyond the cutting edge for over a decade.
If you've always wondered what it's like to ride one of these phenomenal bikes, get yourself to the What Mountain Bike Demo Days and have a go - for free!
Foes will be bringing the new XCT trail bikes, which are available in both 4" and 5" models.
A completely new design, they're designed to complement the superb, hard hitting 2:1 6" FXR introduced last year (unchanged for this year and also present). The 4" XCT bike will have the new extra large air chambered Carnutt 2:1 air shock (lower shock psi = better bump absorption and traction) with adjustable head angle & b/b for the discerning rider who wants the stiffest, best handling 4" bike on the market.
The XCT 5 features a Carnutt 2:1 coil (with XTD bottom out and Ti spring upgrade options) designed to be equally at home on backcountry, all day epics or shredding the trail centres.
There'll also be a Fly, the iconic Foes Freerider (8-9" travel) again with the exclusive Carnutt shock and with the option to run it with 1,2 or 3 rings is probably the most versatile bike of it's kind.
All Foes demo bikes will be size M.
You can see what we got up to in the previous Demo Days in Bedgebury here and in Llandegla here.

Anybody care to explain why Foes did not show on Sunday?
After waiting weeks for the demo day to arrive, spending 2-3 hours driving through the snow to get there, (and great fun getting out the car park at the end of day by the way) Foes-No-Show!
Short of getting on a flight to California, any body know of a 'Reliable' Foes dealer who is prepared to demo these bikes?
At the moment I have lots of hard earned burning a hole in my pocket, but with Foes apparent attitude I feel inclined to spend elsewhere on one of the manufacturers who could be bothered to turn up. A text, email or phone call might of been nice though, might of prevented me getting up at 6:30am in order to get to Aston Hills for the mythical appointment.

I totally agree with U about Foes. I have a hole burning in my pocket too and it seems Foes does not want my 3600.00 Canadian for their Fly frame. It blows me away that a company pushes away the little guy and does not give a crap about my pennies because there are bigger fish out there. They doe not seem to have the time or care to organize a proper frame and or color through my dealer because EUROBIKE is and was more important. SAD,SAD,SAD, word of mouth is everthing. Get it together Foes, I love your frames, but your customer satisfaction is SAD!!!! :(
