Winner announced for BikeRadar's Evans Cycles competition

How the £2000 worth of cycling gear will be spent

David Wright from Worthing in West Sussex was the name pulled out of the hat for the fantastic prize from Evans Cycles, offered as part of BikeRadar's launch signup competition.

From what he tells us he'll be putting the money to good use: "2000 pounds worth goes a long way! Although I like my Roberts road bike it is getting on a bit and as I only got my Giant XTC SE last year I will probably look at getting a new road bike along with some gear, a Gore-Tex jacket, new lid etc."

David could check out BikeRadar's massive product database to read up on what he fancies.

David's a regular road and mountain bike rider, which is to be expected living so close to the South Downs. "I go riding every week at least once, usually twice a week if I am able and it varies between the road bike and the mountain bike, depending on how I am feeling," he said.

We hope he enjoys his new bike and kit. Keep an eye on the site for more great competitions from BikeRadar.com.
