    Just over 10 minutes later, Quick.Step leads out Tom Boonen for 13th in the sprint, just behind Sebastian Chavanel (FDJ). Zabel didn't get too many points there, so Boonen will increase his lead in the green jersey competition.

    Impressive by Vasseur. 10 years after his last stage win, and the first Frenchman to win a stage in this year's Tour. It's also the third win for Quick.Step. He's hugged by soigneur Dirk Nachtergaele and gets ready for his post-race interviews. This will be popular in L'Equipe tomorrow.

    400m, Halgand winds it up, then Vasseur goes at 300. He gets a lead and is challenged by Casar, but holds the younger rider off and wins the stage!!!! That was a close finish. Albasini third, then Halgand and Voigt.
