Specialized Bicycles Berm Adaptalite Glasses | $120
BikeRadar verdict
"Comfortable on the eyes and the face, and they look pretty good too."
Rather than using lenses with the usual dark grey tint, the Berm’s pleasant persimmon orange tint brightens up dreary days and enhances trail contrast. The shift to darker tinting is almost unnoticeable on the trail.
Adaptalite is Specialized’s term for photochromatic lenses. As light conditions change, so too does the tint of the lens. Light transfer is 22 per cent when the lens was at its darkest and 78 per cent at its most transparent.
They are also very comfortable to wear, don’t slip, and have very efficient air flow thanks to the side vented lens.
