When a pair of glasses with three lenses, a hard case and a cleaning bag costs this much, it’s pretty much deemed a bargain regardless of performance. The Arina Blades, however, have a lot going for them regardless of their budget price.
The simple half-cover frame is thin, and the broader arms have a sticky rubber insert along their full length. That makes the fit nice and secure; impressive for such lightweight glasses.
The lens shape is good, too, if a little short on depth for larger faces. They also fog up a little but are quick to clear. Lens changes are simple, quick and safe – which is a good thing as the lenses themselves are quite easily scratched. Take care and the Blades are a serious bargain.
