Dual Eyewear SL2 Pro glasses - in brief£60.00

Two lenses for the price of one

BikeRadar score4/5

Dual’s sunnies incorporate a small bifocal lens within the main lens, which enables you to read your cycling computer if you normally need reading glasses, while barely moving your head.

Highs: Very effective bifocal sunnies

Lows: You need to get used to them

Available in +1.5, +2.0 and +2.5 diopters, they’re also useful for roadside repairs, reading maps and using a mobile – anything where blur-free vision is an advantage – without the need to carry your reading specs.

The frames are Grilamid, while the polycarbonate lenses offer 100 per cent UVA, UVB and UVC protection. As with any bifocals it’s worth wearing these for a while to acclimatise yourself to them, but their quality and effectiveness surprised and impressed us.

Cycling Plus is the manual for the modern road cyclist. Whether you're cycling weekly, an occasional new rider or a Tour de France fan you’ll find everything you need.
