"Great value waterproof luggage but with limited adjustability"

These fully waterproof 20L panniers don’t have quite the ease of use of others we’ve tried but are still very high quality products – again made in Germany.

The Rixen and Kaul brackets need to be locked manually rather than clipped in and the lower bracket can only be adjusted horizontally.

The shortish straps mean you can’t overload these bags, but the positives more than make up for this: they’re tough, the Rixen and Kaul brackets are secure, the central pocket makes for easy packing and there’s a top inner pocket that’s handy for your valuables.

Adventure Welded panniers (12)

• Ultrasonically welded construction. • The closure is roll top. • For extra weather protection each bag also has a click-fix buckle-down lid. • This arrangement is more convenient than a pannier that is solely roll top because the buckle-down lid can be instantly clicked shut. • Inside the lid, there's a zipped mesh pocket for keeping valuables such as sunglasses, camera and lights simultaneously secure and easier to locate. • Click-fast rack clips make for fuss-free fitting that makes the panniers simultaneously rock-solid secure yet easy to release when you need to remove them. • Each pannier has a handle. • The handle is not only useful for carrying the bag, you can loop a cable lock through it for theft deterrence. • Each pannier is a single compartment bag. A, for simplicity. B, to enable over stuffing. (Compartments though handy can rob your bags' capacity.) • Approx Dimensions: 38cm tall x 36cm across x 17cm deep = 20litres per pannier.
