Montane Featherlite H20 Review - BikeRadar

Montane are a UK brand specialising in ultra-light, high-performance mountain gear; a full cycle range appears next year. Designed as a minimal pac-a-mac, this jacket weighs just 122g and packs down smaller than an inner tube into its own carry bag. It shrugs off wet and wind well thanks to a storm-flapped zip, snug collar and long elasticated sleeves and hem.

The jacket's on the sweaty side though - we'd choose one of Montane's faster breathing windcheaters as a general riding shell. Venting is limited to a rear yoke flap, but the sleeves pull up. Pockets and features are sacrificed for pack size and low weight but you do get reflective dots on the shoulders and sleeve ends. We've had no wear or tear issues.
