Scott clothing may not show up on most rider's immediate choice clothing radar, but it makes some really thoughtful, stylish threads that are worth hunting down.

The Windjacket comes from the racey 'Ultra' range and uses a complex, multi panel cut for an excellent flap free but easy moving close fit on the bike. A tall mesh lined collar and long twin drawcorded fishtail giving full coverage protection. The wrists also use die cut rubber and Velcro tabs so you can cool or seal your forearm hot spots with ease. This backs up already reasonable shower repelling sweat transporting performance from the 'Windbreaker' fabric to create a jacket that stays comfortably dry until the hammer really goes down or the hills go up. A massive, zipped rear pocket give the biggest cargo space on test and the Ripstop weave of the fabric makes it pretty tough for its type. It's still a lightweight and easily packed parcel too, and the price seems fair for the extra features and finishing touches you get. Also available in a 'Contessa' women's fit which adds light blue to the gents grey and red options.
