Kona Strada LS Wool Jersey [WG] Review - BikeRadar

The Strada shirt follows in the trend of Rapha's Fixed jersey and Nike's Tete de Course jersey in that it's a quality technical piece of cycling kit that's easily stylish enough off the bike.

Made from 100 per cent Merino wool (with all the fast wicking and temperature control benefits that come with it) there's a Strada name embroided on the front and a Kona logo at the bottom of the rear quarter. The back also features a zipped pocket, whilst the front a short zip. The high ribbed neckline in a complementing black is most welcome on cooler days with the zip aiding cooling when things warm up.

Fit is on the relaxed side of things which again is a bonus for wearing off the bike whilst not too baggy to be a hindrance on it. Another great feature is the deep arm cuffs which do a great job in stopping the arms riding up when worn under a rain jacket and are stretchy enough to be pulled over the cuffs of your gloves. In all the Strada is superb, well put together and in a cut that's well designed and practical. My only complaint with this jersey is the price - at £100 it's £15 more expensive than Rapha's Fixed and £10 more than Nike's offering. Personally I prefer the styling of the Strada and at a more competitive price this would be highly recommended - as it stands it's a little on the expensive side, but shop around as some of the internet's bigger shops are offering this at a more competitive price.
