Diadora Ergo Plus | $119.32
BikeRadar verdict
"Typical Diadora build quality make this a great value all-round shoe"
The perfect road shoe doesn't just need to fit right, it must also be durable, easy to fasten and unclip, comfortable, safe to walk in when required, doesn't inflict pins and needles after a couple of hours in the saddle and looks good - and that's a lot to get right!
Enter Diadora's new shoe for 2007, the Ergo Plus. With a list of features as long as your arm, it had a lot of hype to live up to but it really does all work. The new fibre glass resin insert is not overly stiff, warding off arch ache from prolonged wear; small ridges on the front and back make for easier, safer walking and the innovative buckles are really effective, making for quicker and more efficient fastening and unclipping. The shoe is comfortable, durable and very well made. An ideal entry level race shoe.
