With a mesh bib and Pearl Izumi’s In-R-Cool fabric providing SPF 50+ sun protection, the Elite shorts are designed for hot summer days. 

Thinner sections of Lycra on the leg help with venting, and the pad, despite not looking overly technical, seems cooler than others, though its medium width front has a tendency to bunch up. 

The braces don’t always lie flat over the shoulder, either. Elasticated hems with silicone grippers hold the legs in place, and reflective detailing on the legs should aid visibility in low light.
