"Fantastic fit and comfort justifies the expense"

The Assos cS.Uno Chronosuit is a popular choice for time trials because of its sleek, comfortable fit and flattering plain colours (black shorts with black or white top). It’s definitely at the pricey end for skinsuits, but you’ll get plenty of wear out of it.

It comes in five sizes; we found a medium size fitted our thin, 183cm frame quite well. It’s a struggle to get into and you don’t want to be standing upright in it for long, but once you’re in an aero position on the bike it fits very snugly and is super-comfortable to ride in. It’s also got a couple of small zipped pockets on the back to carry spares, cash and keys – a practical touch that won’t slow you down at all.
