These anatomically designed Alp-X socks are more than your average foot mitten. The different grey panels each have a purpose – there’s Achilles’ tendon protection, anti-shock heel protection and ankle protection.

There’s also a ventilated section under the toes to stop you getting sweaty foot digits and a layer of hard-wearing Cordura around your extremities to help protect against wear.

All this goodness is packed into a comfy mid-length sock that breathes well and will probably outlast the rest of your sock drawer. They’re available in four sizes.
