Ground Effect Witches Britches
BikeRadar verdict
"Black magic. Leggings with well thought out padding and knee insulation"
Ground Effect's Outskirts range is specifically designed for women riders, with the Witches Britches including a women-specific 'chamois' with 3D anatomical shaping and multi-level foam to reduce bulk and increase comfort exactly where it's needed.
The synthetic chamois is absorbent and quick drying with an anti-bacterial finish. Often the padding in tights and leggings are let down by the performance of the garment, but not with the Witches Britches. We found them comfortable and well fitting even on longer rides.
The legs are contour-styled with eight panels and a high-rise elastic waistband for maximum comfort even when bent over in race position. The four-way stretch Lycra is hard wearing and allows full freedom of movement. It also has the added advantage of fleece-lined knees for extra insulation, which is exactly where you need it.
