The 920 is a relatively unsophisticated 9-speed chain that gets the job done.

The unsophisticated construction is mirrored by the relatively high weight for a 9-speed chain. With that in mind it's best suited for the budget 9-speed systems. Its heavy duty nature won't produce the desired effect on the slick shifting high-end 9-speed drivetrains. Its increased strength and solid construction makes it more suitable for touring or on the mountain bike. Seek out a lighter chain for a smoother, speedier shift.
