FSA K-Force
BikeRadar verdict
"A fairly good value set - at the discounted price"
These two-piece carbon cranks are the top model of FSA's V-Drive series and are a very popular fitment on high-end bikes that would be otherwise equipped with square taper Campagnolo Chorus or Record cranks.
The carbon is wrapped around an aluminium 'skeleton' so that the metal parts that are 'interference fit' like the pedals and bottom bracket cannot damage the integrity of the carbon fibre.
The FSA bearing cups are common to the Shimano design so a Shimano special tool - code TL-FC32 - is required to fit them to your frame, followed by the crank and axle. The left hand crank fits in much the same way as an ISIS Drive crank does and is similarly secured using an Allen-headed bolt within a key release system. This crankset is compatible with all 110mm BCD chainrings.
We've seen these cranksets discounted to £244, which makes them much better value.
