If you are looking for style, this fork from the Brianza region of Italy is a 100% carbon construction that weighs 340g for the 1in steerer version. This is a non-integrated design but there are versions available for frames that use the 'hiddenset' fully integrated headsets.

Like Smolik, they use an aluminium sleeve onto which the headset crown race is fitted. It's a better system, we think, than the normal one where you have to drive the crown race directly onto the carbon fibre fork steerer.

The Bellagio has good lateral stiffness, and the slightly greater than average feeling fore and aft compliance concurs with the lab test results. Also available with an oversized steerer. Fork offset is 4.5cm only and also 650 wheel size version.
