Guess Guess Fork
BikeRadar verdict
"Bargain aero fork, especially for light riders"
The Guess forks are of the fully integrated type and use an alloy crown and steerer that are bonded to carbon blades of a wing-shape profile.
While they fall slightly short of the ideal 4:1 aspect ratio they are probably the most effective shape by the time the non-vertical angle that the fork blades attack still air is taken into consideration. Steering stability is adequate for time trialling and road racing with a light rider at the helm but medium to heavy riders would do better with the Smolik forks tested here.
This fork has Fully integrated crown though should not stop the time triallist looking for a bargain-priced aero fork from fitting it to a non-hiddenset frame. The fork has a 45mm offset and is available in 1 1/8in steerer only.
