BikeRadar verdict

35 out of 5 stars

"The ultimate in lightweight and firmness and surprisingly not uncomfortable."

By BikeRadar

It's incredibly easy to dismiss this saddle if you don't fit the profile of the rider it's aimed at. To say the carbon K-Force is niche is an understatement in the extreme. Costing a shade under £200 and weighing a feathery 140g the uncompromising form and function screams race.

Sitting on bare carbon is certainly an experience but it is not an uncomfortable one if you're hardened to the shape and firmness of a race saddle. The shape has been perfectly moulded to support the sit bones which is a good thing as there's no flex whatsoever from the 3K carbon fibre shell. Tubular titanium 6/4 rails do their bit to diminish road buzz but ultimately there's no hiding from the hard ride. It's not an everyday saddle but it will appeal to weight-watchers and look fanatics. The only reservation we have is with the sharp tip of the nose which would be cable of skewering your body in a nasty fall.
