"Cheap, versatile, mixed surface tyre for a great price"

Tough, puncture-resistant and versatile, the Land Cruiser has been around a while, but more sizes than ever are available, from 1.75-2in for 26in wheels, and from 700x30 up to a gargantuan 45 or 1.75.

The tread pattern has a central profile for tarmac and serrated side knobs for dirt roads. 

Part of the Schwalbe's ‘Basic’ range, the price is low at the cost of weight (870g for the 28x45) and simplicity, with no folding version.

It’s a touch heavier than the Marathon XR, and not rated to carry as much, but it’s much cheaper – the smaller sizes are £10.49.
