Finish-Line Wet Lube | $6.40
BikeRadar verdict
"Long-lasting wet lube, but it can be a wee bit fiddly to apply"
Wet lubes stay on more than dry ones thanks to high viscosity, and Finish Line’s product has more cling power than most.
It’s made from non-toxic, biodegradable ingredients, but despite its viscosity, we’re inclined to apply it more rather than less regularly through wet, muddy winter riding.
Having said that, we never heard those ominous dry creaks from our chain that you tend to experience when you’re at the furthest point from home in a lashing downpour. We’re not keen on the relatively short nozzle, which means cack-handed mechanics may well struggle a bit with accurate application – it’s hard to really get it into the jockey wheel and front mech. But with care it’ll do the job.

User review of Finish-Line Wet Lube
The original reviewer must be cack-handed. I've had no problems applying the lubricant on my touring bike, MTB and road bikes. I've used a range of lubricants over the past five years and settled on Finish Line's wet lubricant over three years ago. It's tenacious and only once has come near being washed off during a six hour ride in extremely wet conditions.
