The Cannondale Airspeed Max has a fold-out foot and T-shaped handle but, unlike some other mini pumps, no gauge. It comes with a screw-on chuck.
By swivelling the base of the Airspeed you can switch from high volume to high pressure pumping, and on a road tyre this is after about 30 strokes or so. The action is relatively short and the shaft fairly wide, creating a solid action.
The screw-on chuck is a little awkward to engage but creates a firm air-loss-free link when secured, and we could get 100psi in our tyres nearer to 200 strokes, though its shortish stroke makes it harder to get much higher.
