Two-time road world champion Paolo Bettini may be nicknamed Il Grillo (the cricket), but his large stature in the pro peloton has allowed the 34-year-old Italian plenty of fear and respect as the finish line approaches. Procycling's Daniel Friebe caught up with the QuickStep racer right after the Giro d'Italia, but before the Tom Boonen cocaine fallout.
