First look: Zipp Bento box
Zipp, best known for its carbon wheels for time trialists and triathletes, now offers its own 'bento' box, a handy top-tube-and-stem storage bag for everyone.
The US$18 Zipp Bento Box has a thin layer of padding between the side panels to eliminate rattling. Not wanting to store everything in a jersey pocket or saddle bag? Use the Bento Box to store a mobile phone, energy gels or route map for easy access.
Four Velcro straps -- two for the headtube/stem, and two for the top tube -- keep the Bento Box in place, with a top zipper for instant access. Night riders will be pleased with the reflective piping around each side. Measurements: 5-1/4" x 3" x 2".
