Lance Armstrong to run Boston Marathon

Seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong plans to compete in the Boston Marathon in April, organizers said Thursday.
The 36-year-old qualified for the Boston race by finishing in under three hours at the New York Marathon in November where he clocked two hours, 46 minutes and 43 seconds.
Before becoming a world class cyclist, Armstrong competed in triathlons.
The Boston Marathon takes place on April 21.
