New cyclocross technique book available this month

"Skills, Drills and Bellyaches: A Cyclocross Primer"

Written by Bill Schieken and Dan Tille, "Skills, Drills and Bellyaches: A Cyclocross Primer" is a new how-to book on the fundamentals of cyclocross.

US national cyclocross champion Jeremy Powers is featured throughout the book, and photos by Bruce Buckley help explain each technique.

"The contents of this book are going to help you improve your cyclocross riding without doing any intervals, without any long rides, and without any rigorous training plans," Power said.

The book addresses skills from basic to more advanced, from hopping off and on the bike to how to carry it to how to warm up and pre-ride a course.

The book addresses basic technique but also things like how to warm-up and pre-ride a course: the book addresses basic technique but also things like how to warm-up and pre-ride a course

A portion of the book's proceeds will go to Powers' nonprofit, the JAM Fund.

"Skills, Drills and Bellyaches" is available for pre-order now at  www.cyclocrossbook.com, and will ship later this month.
