Team Highroad supporting 'Right To Play' organization

Wondering what that "Right To Play" logo on the Team High Road jerseys means? The organization is a global-scale implementer of Sport for Development and Peace programmes for children in the most neediest countries. By donating, you also gain entry to win a giant TCR Advanced Team Edition bicycle (valued at US$6,000) through June 9, 2008.
Team High Road launched its involvement at the recent Tour of Georgia, where young Belarussian cyclist Kanstantin Sivtsov won the overall title.
"Right To Play’s values and mission align with those of High Road," said team owner Bob Stapleton. "They develop the values and benefit of sport and play in society. Team High Road focuses on clean and fair sport and upon success won by fair means. We believe in the global work of Right To Play and hope that we can help."
Working in both the humanitarian and development context, Right To Play, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, trains local community leaders as coaches to deliver its programs in more than 20 countries affected by war, poverty and disease in Africe, Asia and the Middle East, including Azerbaijan, Benin, Chad, China, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Jordan, Lebanon, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, and Zambia.
The four strategic program areas include: Basic Education and Child Development, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, Conflict Resolution and Peace Education, and Community Development and Participation.
