Hi there.

Option 3: A breakaway won't succeed because it's too early in the race and there are too many riders with a chance of wearing yellow tonight.

Cheers, Andy

I think Paddy Powers money is safe. The T&C show that this applies only to riders who are banned by ASO for a failed dope test. IIRC, ASO will convene a panel to assess each positive "A" sample and decide whether to bar a rider within 24 hours. It is almost impossible that "B" samples will be confirmed within that 24 hour window so ASO will probably exclude the rider on "unsporting behavior", "interference with ASO profit margin" or somesuch - declaring a riders as banned for doping before both tests have been carried out will see ASO / FFC up before CAS.

I use Time Atac clipless pedals and they're ideal for commuting. I've never had a "clipless moment".

Is there such a device that you can attach to your shock pump so there is no loss of air when removing the pump after setting?

Thx...

I'm seriously considering upgrading the Float 32 140mm fork on my Yeti 575 (07) to a 36.

Ridden it in Scotland and Wales and, while the 32 is a good fork, it feels a bit unbalanced with the DHX 5.0 air shock on the rear.

Anyway, I can't justify buying a new 36 - so I'm faced with a choice of '07 Talas (100mm - 160mm) or Float R (160mm) secondhand. The latter obviously a bit cheaper.

Anyone got experience of the 36 Float R on a 575 or similar travel bike? I'm just wondering if it'll prove to be too long in travel and I'll wish I'd got the Talas.

To be honest when ever I commute I just ride the bike as it is set for the trails - normal pressures, normal fork settings and normal tyres. Sure it may make it harder than it needs to be but it's good for the fitness.

And whats wrong with lycra it's not just for roadies y'know! Although I must admit I get funny looks at work when I roll up in my full race gear - especially from the admin girls
