The Kona Bristol Bikefest takes place on June 7 and 8, using an almost 10km loop at
Entry for both days of the Bikefest is still open but at the time of writing there are only 10 solo places left for the twelve hour race on Saturday. Team entries are still being taken, but you are advised to get your entries in quickly. Solo and team places are available for the six hour event on Sunday too.
If you enter the Bristol Bikefest before May 1 you’ll get to camp free, with the site being open from Friday afternoon to Monday morning.
Bikefest sponsor, Paligap, (Kona Bikes distributor) will be supplying a ‘loyalty gift’ worth more than £25 to every rider, which will be awarded when you sign on. The gift will also be given to riders who enter the Cheddar event later in the year.
In addition to great riding, there’ll be plenty of other stuff going in to keep you entertained and amused. There’ll be a bar on-site on the Friday and Saturday, along with a DJ and the Bikefest live band, Junction 27, for your aural delectation and delight on Saturday evening. And, of course, event caterers will be on hand to keep you well fed and watered.

The Saturday race will have a night riding element this year after being extended to 10 hours. The Sunday event will also grow from four to five hours and will get an extra three hour ‘Novice’ event added to the line-up.
