A top indoor turbo option

Requiring mains power, this turbo is for indoor-use only, but it’s simple to set up and the wireless bar-mounted computer doesn’t take long to master.

You can also download an app and use an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad with it, giving you the option to ride courses created with Google maps. In action it gives a smooth ride, with no slip when sprinting.

There are several training options, including to a set power (which can be programmed into an interval session), or just train to a certain level, which you can adjust on the go.

The power measurements matched those on our PowerTap to within 5-10W, provided we kept the cadence consistent ( 90rpm) and didn't change it too suddenly. Similarly we could get a good match between displayed power and the PowerTap on Level 3 of the resistance setting.
