VOTE NOW IN THE WHAT MOUNTAIN BIKE AWARDS 2008

We want your votes!

The What Mountain Bike Awards 2008 is fast approaching, and this year we're asking readers to take part in the voting. Everyone who votes will be entered into a draw to win a Focus Fat Boy hardtail, worth £450. We want your nominations in three categories:

Trail Centre of the Year

Purpose built trail centres popping up all over the UK but which offers the best mix of great riding, well maintained trails and great facilities?

Event of the Year

What was the best mountain biking event you've taken part in during the past 12 months? It could be a 24 hour race, a demo day, a marathon or a festival - we want your nomination.

Unsung Hero of the Year

This is your chance to tell us about the behind-the-scenes heroes of mountain biking. From trail builders and forest rangers to bike shop staff and coaches, there are hundreds of people out there supporting mountain bikers and inspiring others to take up the sport.

Complete our voting form online and you'll be in with a chance of winning a brand-new Focus Fat Boy, courtesy of Wiggle. With confident yet lively handling and quick acceleration and handling, it's a superb all-rounder for the price and is possibly the best-equipped bike we've tested at this price. Crisp and powerful braking comes courtesy of Shimano discs, while the Shimano/Alex wheels are light and fast. Once you get used to the low bottom bracket, it's a blast and is our current favourite sub-£500 bike.

Check out our Summer issue (WMB85, on sale June 25) to see the full results, including our prestigious Bike of the Year award winner, Product of the Year and Innovation of the Year.

Voting opens on Friday 11 April and closes at midnight on Friday 9 May, so don't delay and vote today!
