Polaris Kids' Alpha Jersey review

Warm winter wear

BikeRadar score4/5

Proper cycling clothing for children is rare, but this long-sleeved jersey is a scaled-down version of Polaris's adult Alpha. It’s made from ThermaStretch, a stretch-fit polyester/elastane fabric that’s fleecy on the inside.

A high collar, elasticated hem and cuffs keep out draughts, but it’s breathable enough to prevent heat build up. Our 10-year-old tester said it was “nice and warm” despite its lack of bulk.

There are three elasticated rear pockets and some reflective patches. It’s available in red or yellow, in sizes S-XL (roughly, age five to 12).
