Emily is an athlete, author and advocate, whose life has revolved around bicycles since she started commuting in London in 2006. She’s worked as a courier, toured across Asia, Iceland and North America, won the Transcontinental and the Strathpuffer, and ridden the Tour de France route several times, as lead cyclist for Le Loop. She specialises (unsurprisingly) in endurance-focussed bikes and, as someone who covers big miles all year round, has a nose for durable, hard-wearing kit that can cope with the worst of the British weather. She’s also a highly experienced urban cyclist, and often finds herself on gravel, whether by design or poor route planning.
