Boardman and Halfords searching for Britain’s Best Ride

Better this Lake District classic for a chance to win a Boardman bike

With an ascent of the iconic Wrynose Pass, a flat-out blast past beautiful Coniston Water and a stunning selection of meat pies from the local butcher, the ride nominated as ‘Britain’s Best’ by Cycling Plus readers James Hodgson and Lindsay McCrae is going to take some beating.

But if you think that your favourite ride – we’re after road and mixed terrain routes – is the best Britain has to offer then get in touch. Cycling Plus have teamed up with Boardman Bikes and Halfords to find the ride that every road rider needs to try. The Lakeland Loop featured in our video is the first of five that will be put to a public vote.

If your route takes the plaudits you’ll win a Boardman Performance Series road bike, courtesy of Halfords. We’ll also have prizes each month for the three best rides submitted – £150 of Halfords.comcycle clothing, accessory and parts vouchers and a Muc-Off bike cleaning pack worth £38 for the month’s top ride, and a Muc-Off bike cleaning pack for two runners-up.
