Great full sussers for under £1K, Kamikaze DH and how to plan a dirty weekend in the Lake District

Issue 326 of BikeRadar's dirt-crusted print sibling Mountain Biking UK is out in the shops now!

This month's mag is a banger, even if we do say so ourselves! We've got it all from one-handed downhill races, to dirty weekends in the Lake District, to the more down-to-earth (literally) £1,000 full-sus bike test.

Also free this month is our European Ride Guide, packed full of a diverse range of  destinations, so no matter what sort of riding you are into you are sure to find something to suit. With this in your mitts there has never been a better time to start planning your summer holiday.

One of our most inspiring features yet involves DH racer Tom Wheeler. Tom suffered a life changing injury to his neck in 2011 meaning the total loss of the use of his right arm.

Fast forward four years and Tom, complete with a carbon arm brace, heads out to California following in the footsteps of his hero Jason McRoy to race at the Kamikaze Bike Games. Read the full feature and find out more about Tom and the Mammoth Mountain DH race.

After racing DH in California we fly over to the Himalayas to an emerging MTB scene in India. Sarah Frampton explores the tracks in Kashmir, a region with dreams of being the Whistler of India.

In an interesting bike test this month we check out four full-suspension bikes all costing less than £1,000. We wanted to know which of these bike are proper modern MTBs and which are singletrack swindlers – and our testers were pleasantly surprised by these bargain bikes.
