Held in glorious sunshine and scorching temperatures over the weekend of June 16-18, the fourth Eroica Brittania was the biggest yet and that meant there were more vintage and retro bikes to drool over than ever before.
Eroica Britannia is the UK’s version of the classic Italian L’Eroica vintage ride which has seen riders on pre-1987 bikes take to the famous Strade Bianchi (white roads) of Tuscany since 1997.
The British version is set in the gorgeous Peak District in Derbyshire and takes in quiet country roads and gravel trails to help recreate the Italian experience.
Eroica Britannia is actually a three-day family friendly festival that while not exactly rivalling Glastonbury for a line-up did boast legendary DJ Norman Jay and 1980s favourites ABC on the main stage. Oh, and of course, there were loads and loads of lovely bikes – here are just a few that caught our eye!
