Have you seen this bike?

Plowman Craven racer has his track bike nicked at the Scottish Track Championships. He wants it back.

Look out for this bike

Yes it’s pink, but James McCallum wants his bike back. The distinctive Plowman Craven liveried track bike – one of only eight in the UK – was stolen from James’ car from outside the Meadowbank Velodrome, Edinburgh on Friday as he prepared for the Scottish Track Champs…

The bike should be pretty hard for the thief to get rid of. The Plowman pinkness will be a bit of giveaway if you’re offered it in an Edinburgh pub, as should the Extreme tri-spoke front wheel, Extreme disc rear and full Dura Ace set up. Understandably both James and, in particular, PC team manager Gary Beckett are eager to get the bike back in one piece. So as Shaw Taylor used to say “Keep ’em peeled.” Oh, and please, don’t have nightmares.
