BikeRadar's long-term review bikes

In-depth reviews with bikes that we will be keeping for up to 12 months

Welcome to the home of BIkeRadar’s long-term test bikes. As the name implies, these are the bikes that our staff are holding onto for a long time, with tests sometimes going on for as long as 12 months.

Served in a blog-like format with regular updates, you can expect more detail than you'll get in a regular review. Our long-term test bikes will often be upgraded throughout the test duration, giving you a valuable insight into potential ownership. We'll also be looking forward to more interactions with yourselves, and will be asking for your suggestions on future upgrades or places to ride.

Below you'll find a growing selection of a variety of machines on test, which cover the vast preferences and disciplines covered by our staff - there's everything from lightweight road bikes to enduro mountain bikes there.

The bikes won't receive a final score until the test duration is complete, but you will be able to see exactly how long and how far we've ridden with each bike until that point is reached. If you have any questions about the bikes on test, click through to the reviews and post your questions in the comments and we'll do our best to answer.

With more than 10 years of experience riding mountain bikes, Oli knows the good from the bad when it comes to gear. He's a total bike nerd and loves few things more than fettling with spangly riding bits. Also, he seems to have a talent for crashing hard but emerging unscathed.
