Uvex F501 Supercross Deco goggles review£49.99

These goggles are a direct crossover product from Uvex’s motocross range, and can be fitted with a roll-off system to keep vision good as you ride through muddy conditions. The frame is on the large side, which creates a massive field of vision that remains clear and undistorted wherever you’re looking.

Super-comfy layered foam sits on your face, and the rubberised backing to the strap keeps the F501s where you want them. The patterned frame and band definitely look the part out on the trail. With a pricetag like this you’d expect plenty of features, and the Decos are packed full of them.

The lens is covered with Uvex’s own anti-fog coating, which was effective to an extent. We experienced some light fogging when the goggles’ large frame didn’t fit perfectly inside a helmet, but we only found one lid they didn’t fit well with. The lens’s anti-scratch properties are good too. We didn’t manage to cause any damage despite some careless mud wiping.
