Royal Hydro Pack review

Universally loved for its subdued colour scheme, Royal’s Hydro didn’t go down quite so well in use. The bladder is basic, with a low flow rate, and materials and construction both feel insubstantial. There’s plenty of storage space in the single full length, two front zip pockets and bellows expansion though, but the zip running the length of the bladder compartment rubbed against spines when the full H2O compliment was on board.

Sadly it's a case of fashion over function – one for short, dry rides only
