Mini review: DHB Earnley armwarmers review£13.99

Secure Lycra warmers

BikeRadar score4/5

Thanks to grippers at the top and bottom, these flat-stitched Lycra armwarmers from online retailer Wiggle's in-house DHB brand stay in place pretty well while you’re cycling – and they keep you warm.

Using armwarmers is a lighter option than carrying a long-sleeved top if you know the day is going to heat up, and these are both breathable and made from Super Stretch fabric that's brushed inside to give fleece-like comfort.

Simon has been cycling for as long as he can remember, and more seriously since his time at university in the Dark Ages (the 1980s). This has taken in time trialling, duathlon and triathlon and he has toured extensively in Asia and Australasia, including riding solo 2900km from Cairns to Melbourne. He now mainly rides as a long-distance commuter and leisure/fitness rider. He has been testing bikes and working for Cycling Plus in various capacities for nearly 20 years.
