This is a no-frills gilet made from rip-stop nylon with a mesh back panel.
It's at its best keeping the wind out rather than being used for mid-winter insulation. The zip isn't backed by a baffle so draughts can get through but you get a good, high neck, and a rubberised gripper holds the hem in close to the body. Two zipped pockets run the whole width of the lower back but the only reflective area is a logo on the chest; we'd have liked more. Comes with its own little bag for easy stowage. >
