DHB Weston Waterproof review£35.99

Budget rain gear

BikeRadar score3.5/5

Nylon jackets with a polyurethane coating and taped seams do an excellent job of keeping the rain out, especially when the outer surface is given a water-repellent coating, as on this Weston.

What they do less well is breathe. Long pit zips and a rear vent are essential if you ride energetically.

The Weston gets the latter only. Features include reflective piping, storm flap, Velcro cuffs and a drawstring hem.

The cut is loose enough to go over normal clothes, and that’s where the Weston is best: as a rain jacket for steady- paced, non-Lycra commuters and tourers. It’s available in blue and black or yellow and black, and sizes from S-XXL.
